It was in 1914 that the great Italian film industry, with worldwide importance, was born in Turin, thanks to the production and shooting of “Cabiria”, the most famous Italian silent film and the second-largest epic in cinema history, after “Quo Vadis?” Since then, Turin’s film tradition has continued to grow, becoming a major source of pride and a true jewel of the city.
This year, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of the National Cinema Museum at the Mole Antonelliana and the founding of Film Commission Torino Piemonte, the city will be designated “City of Cinema”. In the streets of Turin, visitors can embark on a journey through time and space, filled with images and videos, beautiful installations to discover, tales of great cinema, movie sets, characters, and behind-the-scenes stories narrated by our expert guides.

The tour is accessible to travelers with physical-motor disability, preferable the presence of a companion as the territory has some challenging slopes or slight movement difficulties.
