Accessibility and usability for travelers with specific needs

The tour is accessible to travelers with physical-motor disability, preferable the presence of a companion as the territory has some challenging slopes or slight movement difficulties.

 

The program results particularly interesting to travelers with sensory disabilities as the pleasures of the palate are exalted.

 

The tour presents a good level of interactivity between the traveller and the narrative voice, a reason that can be of great interest in the presence of sensory disabilities.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner in an inn with a traditional Pisan menu. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Pisan hills

Breakfast at the hotel and start the tour on the Pisan Hills Wine Route, an extraordinary journey of enchanting colors between landscapes and characteristic hamlets, rich in history and culture, to the discovery of  cellars, wine shops and boutiques. You will admire the hamlet of Palaia, the hills of San Miniato and Peccioli, the vineyards of Terricciola and much else. Every cellar has a different history, ancient families that have carried on the tradition of production of the Chianti, wine with a controlled and guaranteed designation of origin (DOCG), famous all over the world. During the journey, stop in 2 cellars with tasting. The stop for lunch will be in an agriturismo in the area where you will taste the products of the territory. In the late afternoon return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Montalcino - Montepulciano and Pienza

Breakfast at the hotel and departure through the ancient roman route that leads from Siena to the famous hills of wines of Montalcino where it’s produced the famous Brunello di Montalcino, considered one of the most prestigious wines of Italy. First stop in a small and typical cellar, with the possibility to walk in the vineyards, visit the cellar and have an introductory tasting of the Brunello wine. Time at your disposal for the visit of the beautiful ancient hamlet of Montalcino where you can climb the walls of the fortress, spend some time in the many boutiques, enjoying the breathtaking landscape on the vineyards below or visit the beautiful and mystic Benedictine Abbey of Sant'Antimo. Stop for a traditional Tuscany lunch in a cellar of familiar conduction with wines of their production. In the afternoon departure for Montepulciano, a beautiful town of Etruscan origin rich in Renaissance palaces with the ancient tradition of its wine, symbol of the city. Stop in a delightful cellar where you will taste the “Nobile Montepulciano”. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: the Chianti

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a tour of a thousand colors: San Gimignano and the Chianti. Departure to the discovery of the beautiful hamlet of San Gimignano, a little medieval town that is UNESCO Heritage. You will then move in the heart of Chianti with a stop in a Tuscany tavern with a visit to the cellar and the vineyards, followed by a tasting. Stop for a typical Tuscany lunch. In the afternoon visit to the wine estate par excellence of Baron Ricasoli, to taste its famous Cru. Dinner in “Osteria del Castello”, return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 5: Return

After breakfast, departure and end of services.
