Motor tour: Veneto – Emilia Romagna

An experience to discover wonderful places on the roads of the engines that have made the history of our ItalyOur goal is to combine two great passionsnamely motoring and foodcreating unique and unforgettable experiential and sensory tours, enhancing the territory with its traditions and its history by now legend. 

 

The tour

The first day will take us to Veneto, in fact the first stop is in Villafranca di Verona, where there is a private collection that boasts an exhibition of numerous vintage cars and motorcycles, bicycles, small vehicles and other special objects of the last century.
After this immersion in our recent past, we start again to stop in Bassano del Grappa where we will have lunch, and then go to another well-known museum in the automotive sector dedicated to the restorer Luigi Bonfanti where are preserved the most iconic cars of the last century with the aim of praising the ingenuity of the car pioneers…
Before going to Verona there is the last stage of the third day that allows you to live an experience like no other, in fact you can taste different typical Venetian liqueurs, such as grappa; but with the peculiarity of tasting it in the place where the first grappa of Italy was produced! * End of the day

*[Alternative: as an alternative to the Nardini Distillery you can visit a reality born in 1898 and that over the years has developed more and more, where you can taste its wines are produced by five vineyards located in the Veronese valleys; has the advantage of owning three DOC: Soave, Valpolicella and Durello. ]

The second day will take us to Mantua, where our first stop will be in a place that houses some of the jewels of the famous Bavarian car manufacturer BMW, in fact the Pezzo family takes care of 360° of this world. It all began with Tullo Pezzo, who in the midst of the Italian economic boom gave birth to a BMW dealership in San Giorgio Bigarello and in 2005 decided to create a beautiful collection of cars and motorcycles dedicated to the Bavarian House.
The second stage of the second day includes the tasting of wine and vinegar at the Venturini Baldini Estate, active since 1976 with 32 hectares of vineyards, deals with a wine production, which stands out for its sparkling wines, for his organic wines and his vinegars…
After this visit there will be lunch in the spectacular scenery of the Estate…
Once lunch you leave for Modena to visit a place rich in history linked to the world of Modena engines, in fact in this museum founded in 1996 collects the testimonies of the family and stable Stanguellini, first of Francesco Stanguellini and then of his son Vittorio; both passionate about engines, elaborations and competitions. After visiting the museum we go to Bologna.

The third day as the first stage will be at the Pagani, where we will immerse ourselves in the world of Hypercars born from the passion of Horacio Pagani who for years has carried on his research and application in his projects of particular materials and of great technological importance and has created luxurious and valuable cars recognized throughout the world. Once lunched, a museum dedicated to one of the most famous Italian aviators of the last century, whose symbol was a source of inspiration for the coat of arms of Ferrari. It ends here on the third day.

On the fourth day, the first stage of the tour is in a place that saw the birth of the Italian automotive brand par excellence, a place rich in history, competition, passion; in fact we can relive the glorious history of the horse in the museum of Maranello. After lunch, the second stage will allow us to visit the most beautiful and complete collection dedicated to the Maserati; which collects various icons of the trident. Finally, the last stage of the tour is a sequel to the morning, in fact the brand of the Cavallino are dedicated to two museums, one of which in the birthplace of the Ferrari creations and one in Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, in the latter museum is illustrated on history, on the life and work of the Drake. Return to Bologna and end of tour.

Accessibility and usability for travellers with specific needs  

The tour is partially accessible by travellers with physical and motor disabilities preferably in the presence of a companion, as the territory has some slopes and small difficulties of movement.  

The program is of particular interest to travelers with sensory disabilities, as the pleasures of the palate are enhanced.  

The tour has a good level of interactivity between the traveler and the narrator, an element that can be of great interest in the presence of sensory disabilities.  

On the recommendation of the traveller we evaluate any type of “food attention” in order to ensure a suitable service and qualitatively adapted to your needs.

Day 1^

Departure from Verona to Villafranca di Verona. Visit Museo Nicolis, then departure to Bassano del Grappa. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon visit Museo Bonfanti Vimar. Late afternoon departure and tasting at the Nardini Distillery. Back to the hotel and evening off for dinner.

Day 2^

Departure from Verona for Museo Tullo Pezzo. Then visit and lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon visit Museo Stanguellini. Departure to Bologna, arrival at the hotel and free dinner.

Day 3^

Departure to go to the Pagani Museum. Followed by lunch at the Paddock Restaurant. Immediately after departure to Lugo and visit Baracca Museum. In the late afternoon, return to Bologna at the hotel and evening free for dinner.

Day 4^

Departure from Bologna and visit Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Lunch at Paddock Restaurant. In the early afternoon departure for the Panini Collection (on request), in the afternoon visit the Ferrari Museum in Modena. Late afternoon departure and return to Bologna. End of tour
