Accessibility and usability for travelers with specific needs

The tour is accessible to travelers with physical-motor disability, preferable the presence of a companion as the territory has some challenging slopes or slight movement difficulties.

 

The program results particularly interesting to travelers with sensory disabilities as the pleasures of the palate are exalted.

Day 1

Arrival in Alba, meeting with our assistant for a short briefing about “on the road tour” . Alba is a fascinating town with a medieval print, it is called “the 100 towers city”. In the afternoon, through the hills road, you will reach Neive, a little jewel in the Langhe, inserted in “the most beautiful hamlets in Italy”. Stop in a winery, meeting with the owner, stories and narrated tasting. Return to Alba and designation of the room. Dinner in a tavern with a traditional menu (wine excluded), Return and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast departure for the splendid Grinzane and Cavour hamlets, where is located the homonymous castle, an imposing manor house that hosts the first Regional Wine Cellar. Entrance and Castle and Wine Cellar visit. Continuation to Serralunga, a beautiful medieval hamlet that is almost intact, surmounted by the imposing Castle of the XVI century. Serralunga is also one of the largest producers of Barolo. Meeting with an expert winegrower, and aboard an off-road vehicle the start of an emotional and suggestive vineyard path to discover stories and secrets of the vineyard. To follow, winery visit and final tasting. Return to “agroturismo” and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, departure to Asti, a historic city famous for its “Palio”. The city deserves a visit to its beautiful historic medieval centre. Continuation and visit of an agricultural holding to learn about all of the sweetness of its biological honey and discover one of the most appreciated local products based on hazelnut: the nougat. Continuation to Canelli, homeland of “Asti Spumante”. In Canelli there are the famous for its Underground Cathedrals, Unesco Heritage, surreal and evocative environments, dating back to the early nineteenth century, real masterpieces of engineering and enological architecture, where thousands of bottles are left to ferment and take on the aromas and flavors typical of sparkling wine. A spectacular experience that will end with the tasting of great sparkling wine.
