Accessibility and usability for travelers with specific needs 

The tour is accessible to travelers with physical-motor disability, preferable the presence of a companion as the territory has some challenging slopes or slight movement difficulties.

 

The program results particularly interesting to travelers with sensory disabilities as the pleasures of the palate are exalted.

 

The tour presents a good level of interactivity between the traveller and the narrative voice, a reason that can be of great interest in the presence of sensory disabilities.

Day 1: Bologna

Arrival early in the afternoon in Bologna and accomodation in a central hotel. Meeting with the local guides and guided walk that will touch the places most representative places of the Emilian capital: “Maggiore Square”, “Re Enzo Square”, “The fountain of Nettuno”, “The two Towers”, the historich porch of “Paviglione” and narrow streets of the “Mercato di Mezzo”. Welcome dinner in a typical local in the city centre located inside of a Historic Building.

Day 2: Ferrara

After breakfast, transfer to Ferrara and guided visit of the historic city centre, jewel of Emilian Renaissance architecture. The itinerary will include the most important monuments and squares of the city: “Palace of Diamanti”, “ Estense Castle”, “Cathedral of San Giorgio”, “Ducal Palace”, “Savonarola Square”, “Square of the Erbe” to end in the suggestive “Jewish Ghetto”. Lunch with typical cuisine of Ferrara and in the afternoon visit of the prestigious palace “Casa Romei”, beautiful example of noble residence between Middle Ages and Renaissance and seat of the homonymous museum that houses collections of frescoes and sculptures coming from innumerable destroyed  or irretrievably modified city buildings. Return to Bologna, free dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Bologna and its hills

Breakfast, meeting with local guides and visiting the “Basilica of San Petronio” and of the monumental complex of “Santo Stefano”. Transfer to  “Villino di Casa Mantovani”, a receptive structure, located between the calm of the hill and vivacity of the city centre. We will appreciate the family and genuine cuisine in a friendly and family lunch buffet reserved for our group, sharing moments of relaxation and conviviality. In the afternoon we will be guests of a historic private Palace where it will be offered a brief musical encounter, to relive the living room and elegant atmosphere of the city that has a particular musical vocation. Free dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast, free time in the city and return.
