Your journey begins with arrival in Settimo Vittone and hotel check-in, followed by dinner at a traditional restaurant to immediately savor the region’s authentic flavors.

The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel and meeting the guide.

First stop: Borgofranco d’Ivrea, a farming village dating back to the late 1200s where history and architecture blend together. The tour continues to the extraordinary Balmetti area, a unique location, natural cellars carved into the rock, showcasing the area’s winemaking and agricultural heritage. The visit ends with a tasting of local specialties, paired with selected wines.

In the afternoon, visit the atmospheric Early Christian complex of the Baptistery of San Giovanni Battista and the Pieve of San Lorenzo, silent witnesses to centuries of pilgrimage on the Via Francigena.

Return to the hotel, dinner at a restaurant, and overnight.

Day three is dedicated to Carema, the kingdom of Mountain Nebbiolo. A guided walking tour among the terraced vineyards explores vines grown on steep slopes held up by characteristic stone pillars, also known as Pilun. Visit a selected winery for a tasting led by a professional Sommelier to appreciate the unique nuances of Carema DOC, paired with excellent local products.

In the afternoon, a local winemaker illustrates the ancient method of building dry-stone walls and pillars, sharing knowledge handed down for generations.

Guided tour concluding with a tasting of local products paired with a selection of wines. In the afternoon, stop and visit the evocative Early Christian complex of the Baptistery of San Giovanni Battista and the Pieve of San Lorenzo.. You will admire a treasure of history and religious art, a witness to centuries of pilgrimage along the Via Francigena. Return to the hotel, dinner at a traditional restaurant, and overnight stay.
